26 May 2010 can only be described as a day to remember. In the tranquil gardens of the Fernwood Estate in Newlands, and with an audience of South Africa’s FMCG industry leaders, a true advertising innovation was born.
Parked side by side with the Amazing Vouchers branded Hummer, the Orisons Mobile Showroom, shone in its debut, signifying the start of a magical change in brand visibility. Natasha van Diemen, the creative pioneer behind the launch and its promotion, was selected as a finalist in the SAB (South African Breweries) Kick-Start Competition. This initiative is focused on bringing up and coming entrepreneurs closer to the heights they strive toward. With ministers, dignitaries and the who’s who of commercial branding in attendance, the opportunity grew to what will in time be recognized as the window to success. On the night, SAB branded the showroom with its own campaign, stressing the need to stop drinking and driving, especially during the Soccer World Cup in June. Fortunately, the concern was met with open arms and those partaking in the event enjoyed a thrilling yet responsible evening, including stylish gift bags containing complimentary Amazing Vouchers memberships amongst other great products.
